On Friday, August 5, the Whitefield Jazz Band performed at the ArtsBridge Gala held at the Cobb Energy Centre. The Jazz Band members included six Whitefield alumni and four current Jazz Band Students and were led by Band Director Stacy Quiros. The Jazz Band received wonderful feedback:
“You and your students/alumni added the perfect touch to the evening as the guests entered and were immediately embraced by the young talent on the stage. It never ceases to amaze me how students rise to the occasion when thrown into new environments with the expectation to perform without missing a beat. Your students definitely delivered a terrific performance, which is not only a testament to their talent, but to the phenomenal guidance they have under your direction.”

The mission of the ArtsBridge Foundation is to expand arts education for all Georgia students and the vision is that everyone has access to arts experiences.
